According to her, what she did was to allay the fears of some health facilities she had promised to donate beds to as an MP.

“But it has been misconstrued by members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency, and that is machining them sell the wrong message to the people”, she observed.

Videos and pictures were circulated widely on social media portraying that the MP, who also is the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, was taking back second- hand hospital beds and mattresses she donated to a hospital because she lost in her bid to becoming the MP for the area for the second time.

Speaking on Peace FM on Monday morning, Dr. Hannah Bissiw, explained that the beds seen in the video were never donated to any health facility, rather it was on its way from a container at Techimantia to some CHP compounds she helped to build at Kosu, Dema, Moani and Esuboe.

The MP noted that five (5) days to the elections, one of her aids distributed some of the items to the beneficiary facilities and the second (which the controversy surrounds) was to complete the whole purpose of which they were brought into the country.

“After my defeat those people thought I would not deliver on the second distribution but I do things for God and not to please humans so the items you see in the truck was on its way to them”, Hannah Bissiw stated.

She said the items were in the container.
