The suspects 40 of whom are men and 3 women, were rounded up in a swoop intended to rid the area of such miscreants and ensure safety of the residents.
The Commander of the Mile 7 District Police Command, Supt. Iddrisu Tanko, said his outfit is currently busily taking caution statement from them and doing the necessary interogations with the view of prosecuting them.
“Their activities are actually taking a toll on the community, in that we record pockets of people being attacked at isolated areas in the community. People have their Ipads, phones and bags being snatched from them at knife or gun point.
